Connecting school work
to Claude
Work in education is scattered across HWP documents, shared drives, and contact lists. GCsoft builds general-purpose MCP (Model Context Protocol) connectors for education that let Claude read and edit these systems directly, and supports institutions from custom connector development through adoption.
From copy-and-paste AI to AI that does the work
Pasting documents into a chat and copying the answer back doesn't reduce the workload. With connectors, Claude finds and reads the original itself and leaves the result where it belongs.

Work that one sentence now finishes
See step by step how Claude uses the connectors to handle five tasks that repeat every day in education.
General-purpose connectors for education
Designed to work for any institution, not just one school, and refined through everyday use in real work.
HWP / HWPX documents
Reads official letters, reports, and budgets; fills table cells and form fields; and creates properly formatted new documents. Originals are never modified — edits stack as revisions (v1, v2…) you can compare and undo.
Shared drive (NAS) search
Searches file names and contents together, reads HWP, PDF, and Office files, and reads numeric tables with merged cells intact. Each person sees only the folders they have access to.
Contacts and staff records
Finds and updates contacts and remembers news, promises, and follow-ups for each person. When staff records change, contacts are kept in sync.
To-do management
Captures tasks that come up in conversation and summarizes what's due today and what's overdue.
Work knowledge base
Claude reads and continues operations docs and ongoing work items. Several people's Claude sessions share one record, and edits go through a propose-and-approve step.
From development to everyday use
- Assess the work We look at recurring tasks and the systems they touch, and pick what connectors can cut first.
- Deploy general-purpose connectors Connectors we've already built — HWP, shared drives — only need to be connected to your environment.
- Build custom connectors For your own systems (academic, administrative, device management), we turn their APIs into tools and build a dedicated MCP server. They also connect to our products such as GCgos.
- Training and operation We train staff and keep refining tools and guidance based on the requests people actually make.
Originals stay safe
Edits go into a new revision of a copy; a person decides whether to apply them to the original.
Irreversible actions are confirmed
Anything that can't be undone, like deleting or sending, shows its target first and runs only after confirmation.
Each person's own permissions
Accounts are linked by each person on the web, and passwords never go through the chat. A connector sees only what that person can see.
Where the connectors go next
- Connecting GCgos and GCwork for edu We are adding connectors to our own products so device management and school admin work can be handed to Claude in plain words.
- Rolling out to other schools and institutions We are bringing the general-purpose connectors refined in our own work to other schools and institutions, adapted to their environments.
