Making the school day
a little lighter

GCsoft is a software company founded in 2026. The chaos of club application season, the hours spent managing iPads, logging in again on every screen — we use software to take away the work schools repeat every single year.

The problem was always in the classroom first

We have never designed a feature first and then looked for a use. It has always been the other way around.

  1. 01

The time lost to device management

The MDM console, Google Classroom, and the Comcigan timetable each require their own login. Finishing a single request — "apply a policy to the iPads of the students in this class" — meant going through all three. GCgos shrinks that path down to one screen.

  2. 02

    And beyond the school

We are carrying what we learned in schools — build it ourselves, run it ourselves, fix it next to the people who use it — into our own platform, GCwork.

  3. 03

    Letting AI do the work

It felt wasteful for the systems we built to be used only by people. We built MCP connectors that link Hangul documents and shared folders to Claude, we already handle our own work with Claude through them, and we are bringing the same approach to schools. Claude connectors

We decide how to build before we decide what to build

Principle 01

From the user's seat

Teachers are not system administrators. Tools that require reading a manual don't get used in schools. The words on the screen alone should tell you what to do next.

  • Say exactly how many devices a deploy button will affect
  • Show excluded targets as a count instead of hiding them
  • Ask again before anything irreversible
Principle 02

Never fake a result

A screen that says "received" for a command that was never accepted is worse than no screen at all. The server decides success or failure, and we show exactly what it decided.

  • Success with a request ID, failure as failure
  • Show on screen how fresh each list is
  • Keep an audit log of who did what
Principle 03

Data stays with its owner

School accounts and student rosters belong to the school. We read only what we need and keep it within the school. We never widen permissions for convenience.

  • Read-only scopes for Google integration
  • A separate server per school, so data never mixes
  • Credentials stored encrypted
Founder

We build it, and we run it

Gichan Park · Founder & CEO, GCsoft

Gichan runs GCsoft while studying software engineering at Pai Chai University. He built and delivered a club-management program to a school, and since 2025 has run a pilot of GCgos, a dashboard on Argos MDM, at a Korean school (50 teachers, about 1,200 iPads). He now builds MCP connectors that bring HWP documents, NAS, contacts, and work logs into Claude, and uses them in daily work. He also builds and runs the servers and network the connectors run on.
