iPads for schools and companies,
on an MDM we build ourselves
GCsoft MDM is a device management server we are developing in-house on Apple's standard MDM protocol. Lock iPads into kiosk mode, push Wi-Fi and security settings over the air, and remotely lock or wipe lost devices.
Starting with the four essentials
We are building the features used most in the field first. Every command follows Apple's device management standard, and who did what to which device is logged.
Remote iPad kiosk mode control
Lock exam, information or check-in iPads to a single app (Single App Mode) and release them remotely when needed — no touching each device.
Wireless profile deployment
Install and remove configuration profiles such as Wi-Fi, passcode policies and restrictions across many devices at once, over the air.
Remote lock · wipe
Lock a lost or stolen device right away, and wipe it remotely if it can't be recovered, to protect its data.
Device inventory at a glance
See each device's OS version, installed profiles and last check-in time in a web dashboard.
Built for
- Schools · education institutions Manage class and assessment iPads by class. Lock them into kiosk mode during exams and release them afterwards.
- Enterprises · organizations Apply company Wi-Fi and security policies in bulk to work devices and to kiosk iPads at stores and front desks.
By asking, in Claude
Like our other products, it is being designed with an MCP connector so devices can also be managed by asking, e.g. “release kiosk mode on class 2-1's iPads”.
How it relates to GCgos
GCgos runs on top of the Argos MDM that schools already use. GCsoft MDM is separate: our own MDM server, operated by GCsoft.
Irreversible commands are confirmed
Commands that can't be undone, such as a wipe, show the target devices first and are sent only after confirmation.
